Let your imagination soar as you join the cast of Peter and the Starcatcher in its inaugural production! Auditions are being held on January 6th and 13th for actors of any age and gender with a knack for comedy and improvisation. With a story focus full of wit, surprise, and adventure, you won’t want to miss out on your chance to be part of this incredible experience.

Auditions for Peter and the Starcatcher will be held on January 6, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. Callbacks will be on January 13th, 2024. To sign up, please click the ticket link. All prospective actors must arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete their audition form. Actors should bring a short comedic monologue, a short acapella song (such as Twinkle Twinkle or This Land is Your Land), and a headshot or resume if they have them.

The director is looking for 15-20 performers of all ages (late teens to 60s) and genders to provide a diverse cast for this ensemble piece. The production will focus on character performers with a knack for comedy and improvement. All types and presentations are welcome!

The narrative follows a young orphan and his friends as they travel to an exotic island under the rule of the infamous King Zarboff. Along the way, they cross paths with Molly, a starcatcher-in-training who knows the secrets of the mysterious trunk onboard the ship. As they face the villainous Black Stache and his pirate crew, they embark on a wild adventure of unexpected twists and turns. Join us on an incredible journey as we follow these heroes on their thrilling quest!

Black Stache is notorious for terrorizing the seven seas for a worthy adversary. With his hairy and heartless ways, he commands attention with his impressive poetic and theatrical flair. He is a male between the ages of 30 and 50. Molly Aster is a brave young girl, an apprentice Starcatcher, who joins our journey as precious cargo aboard the Neverland. Her curiosity and intelligence are matched only by her commitment to justice and morality. She is female, between the ages of 13 and 25. Lastly, Peter is an orphan, a boy without a home, and the leader of this intrepid crew. Together, they battle the wicked Black Stache and unlock the secrets of the mysterious trunk in a thrilling adventure full of surprises.

Peter is a male between the ages of 13 and 25. He is a lonely and hardened orphan who starts without much, but by the end of the play, he is a hero who has found his home and family and dreams of living freely.

Peter is the brave captain of the Neverland, and despite not having the capacity to lead anyone but himself, he finds strength in his persistence and never fails in his determination to do what’s right. His greed motivates him to find starstuff and a way to make his dreams come true—optional doubling as HAWKING CLAM.

Alf is a seasoned sailor, proud of his accomplishments at sea. His kind nature and affable mannerisms are universally appealing to all genders alike. Lord Leonard Aster is an upstanding English gentleman devoted to the Queen and her subjects. He is a loyal friend and a master starcatcher, ever-vigilant in his pursuit of justice and the truth.

Captain Robert Falcon Scott is the captain of the Wasp, Britain’s fastest frigate. He lives with a sense of nautical bravura and heroic patriotism that inspires his crew. Ted is an orphan living on the streets whose wit, intelligence, and natural gift of performance are unrivaled. He is incredibly passionate about cooking and finding creative ways to get food. The ensemble includes sailors, seamen, seafarers, orphans, pirates, mermaids, mollusks, and narrators, all bringing unique skills and perspectives to the story.
