The shores of Lake Washington will once again host a celebration of mysticism and community spirit as the PNW Witches Market announces its fourth annual Beltane Festival. Set for April 27, 2025, at Marina Park in Kirkland, this free, all-ages event promises to be a magical gathering for both practitioners and the curious alike. As the largest witches’ market in the Pacific Northwest, the festival has become a key fixture for those interested in exploring mystical traditions.

Beltane, traditionally celebrated around May 1st, marks the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice in many pagan and earth-based spiritual traditions. It’s a time of renewal, fertility, and abundance—themes that will be woven throughout the festival’s activities. The organizers are emphasizing community connection this year, inviting attendees to “come for the magick, stay for the community” as they honor the turning of the seasonal wheel through shared celebration and ritual in this scenic lakeside setting.

Visitors to the PNW Witches Market Beltane Festival will discover a lively marketplace featuring an array of mystical merchants and artisans. From occult and subversive art to handcrafted jewelry, apothecary herbs, and tinctures, the market caters to every aspect of magical practice. Specialty items include rune sets, tarot decks, crystals, and ritual tools alongside unique offerings such as hand-carved bone jewelry, fairy crowns, crocheted witches’ hats, and an assortment of plants for those looking to enhance their witchcraft practices.

Beyond shopping, the festival offers chances for spiritual exploration through various types of readings and divination. Attendees can consult with practitioners offering tarot spreads and channeling, astrology readings, and past-life insights. These spiritual healers will be available throughout the day to provide guidance and nurture visitors’ spiritual growth.

The marketplace atmosphere blends commerce with community, creating a space where both seasoned practitioners and those new to magical traditions can find resources, connections, and inspiration.

The festival’s schedule features a full day of performances and participatory rituals designed to honor the season. Beginning at noon with an opening ceremony by Sirens of Serpentine, the event will flow through various musical performances, including Sirenne’s Song at 2:00 PM and Strange and the Familiars at 2:30 PM. One of the highlights will be the traditional Maypole dance at 3:30 PM, where attendees can join in “weaving intentions into the ribbons of the season”—a beautiful visual representation of community connection and seasonal celebration.

As the market portion of the event winds down at 4:30 PM, the festivities will transition to a bonfire celebration on the beach that continues until 7:30 PM. This closing ritual offers a time for reflection, celebration, and deeper community bonding around the elemental power of fire.

The extended timeline allows participants to experience the transition from day to evening, adding a meaningful dimension to the seasonal celebration. Organizers encourage attendees to bring their “magickal energy” to the gathering, emphasizing the participatory nature of this community event.
